Click the folder button (red outline in Figure 2)
The "Unit No" (green outline in Figure 2) will become editable.
In that field, type the EQ number to which you want to add warranty and press enter.
Side Note: If there are any active warranties already on the unit, they will show up in the bottom half of the screen.
To add a warranty that is not already present in the session, click the "Add" button (blue outline in Figure 2)
This opens a new window...which is also called "Warranties by Equipment":
Figure 3: Add "Warranties by Equipment" (tsext6102m000)
First, find the Warranty Code that you need in the Warranty Code field (red outline in Figure 3). It will be the three character abbreviation of the Provider (ie EPG) or Manufacturer (ie CAS) and "EXT" for Extended and "STD" for Standard.
Note: you can zoom into the field and select an option using the button in the far right of the field.
Next, update the Start Date, End Date, Start Reading, and End Reading of the warranty in the fields outlined in green in Figure 3
Finally, click "Save and Close" (blue outline in Figure 3)
That's all it takes. Close the session if you are done. Or, repeat if you have more to add.
