To install the ASCO VPN, you must first request VPN access through a Help Desk Ticket

  • Click here: https://205.209.237.11 (if you get a warning that the connection is not private, click the Advanced link and then click the Proceed to 205.209.237.11 (unsafe) link)
  • Log on to the portal using your network credentials (the user name and password that you log onto your computer with. My user ID is sjenkins, for example. No... I am not giving you my password...)
  • Once you get signed in, you should be directed to a page that looks like this:
  • Click on the Download Client and Configuration for Windows link as indicated above
  • Once the download is complete, open the downloaded file and run the installer.
  • Once the installer is completed, you should see an icon in the system tray (lower right hand corner) that looks like this:
  • Right click over this icon and click Connect. (just like you did with the OpenVPN client) 


That's it.  You only have to do the installation once. After that, to run the client, click the Start menu -> All Programs -> Sophos -> Sophos SSL VPN Client and then connect.
